Welcome to MVN

Mahapragya Vidya Niketan (MVN) was conceptualised by Acharya Mahapragya, during his chaturmas in 2002 in the serene campus of Preksha Vishwa Bharati, at Koba-Patia, Gandhinagar. Acharya Mahapragya who strongly believed in the total pesonality development of a child felt this campus should be utilized to cater the educational needs of the children of the parents who want to see them balanced persons in their future. With this vision of the Acharya, Preksha Dhyan Academy, an executive wing of Terapanth Samaj made efforts to start this school in June 2003, by obtaining the initial permission of running a primary school, from the State Government.

The school started functioning from 16th June 2003 with 46 students from Jr. K.G. to class IV. The school was up graded to class VI in 2004-05, to Class VIII in 2005-06, to class X in 2007-08 and to class-XII in 2009-10. The present enrolment has reached to 1000+ students so far. The School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. New Delhi, with affiliation number 430064 and school No. 10055. The School is a co-educational, English medium, day school following the National curriculum approved by CBSE and scheme of studies approved by the Government of India and being followed in various Kendriya Vidyalayas. Along with regular class-room teaching - learning activities for more than 240 days during an academic session the school strives hard to inculcate other skills & values for the all round development of the students.

Practical training of Jeevan Vigyan, inclusion of various activities in the time table, implementation of continuous & comprehensive evaluation scheme and grading system, not awarding ranks / positions, assigning least possible homework at lower classes, regular contacts with the parents are some of the efforts to minimize the stress on child & motivate his real self to come out so that appropriate guidance is given at appropriate time. The aim of the school is to provide good education to the needy ones at reasonable cost on no profit no loss basis. The school does not charge any extra money from the students by way of development fee, or capitation fee. It bears all major, and non-recurring expenses of capital nature and endeavors to make it a useful place for the society.
